NATURAL
DEATH BENEFIT: AFTER ONE CONTINUOUS YEAR OF
MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN ATTAINED, A DEATH BENEFIT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $500 THROUGH THE FIFTH YEAR OF MEMBERSHIP.
AFTER THE FIFTH YEAR, BENEFIT INCREASES $100 PER YEAR TO A
MAXIMUM DEATH BENEFIT OF $2000. MEMBERSHIP MUST BE
CONTINUOUS.
ACCIDENTAL
DEATH BENEFIT: $2500 WITH 2 1/2 INDEMNITY FOR $6250
FOR OFFICERS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.

Accidental Death
benefit is paid when a member dies from accidental bodily
injury, or exposure or loss of life due to adverse weather
conditions, or disappearance for 365 days after the date
of an accident.

Line of Duty
benefit is paid in addition
to the Accidental Death benefit when an active at work
member is killed in the line of duty.
